Armed Robbers Fatally Shoot Money Changer in Kabul
Sources have reported a tragic incident in which armed robbers fatally shot a money changer in the Shahr-e-Naw area of Kabul, while making away with his money.
According to initial reports, armed assailants targeted Hamidullah on the night of Saturday, September 16th, in the 10th security district of Kabul city.
Sources indicate that Hamidullah was engaged in currency exchange at the Haydari Market and was shot by armed robbers on his way home.
It is important to note that Hamidullah hailed from the Smakanai district of Paktia province.
As of now, the Taliban have not issued any statements regarding this incident.
Despite the Taliban’s claims of ensuring the safety of Kabul residents, citizens are reporting a significant increase in criminal activities and armed robberies within the city, more than ever before.
This is in stark contrast to the recent announcement by the Ministry of Interior of the Taliban, which stated that approximately 62,000 security cameras have been installed in various locations throughout Kabul to enhance the security of its residents.
