According to local sources in Badghis province, a Land Cruiser overturned, leaving 5 dead and 9 injured.
Local sources told Hasht-e Subh that the incident took place on Tuesday, 25 April, in the Band-i-Mangan area of the Bala-morghab district of Badghis province.
Among the victims of the traffic accident were women and children, according to sources.
It is said that the Land Cruiser was traveling from Herat to Farayab.
Poor road conditions and narrowness of the road are cited as reasons for the deadly traffic accident.
This comes as dozens of people have been killed and injured in traffic accidents in various provinces of the country in the past five days.
