According to local sources, strong winds accompanied by stones have caused severe financial damage to farmers and greenhouse owners in Farah province.
Sources reported to Hasht-e Subh on Sunday, April 30, that in the past two nights, fierce winds with stones destroyed more than five thousand meters of greenhouses in the region of Rij, a suburb of Farah province.
Meanwhile, greenhouse owners in Farah have requested assistance from the Taliban’s Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock to address their problems.
It is noteworthy that farmers in most provinces, especially in the central and southeastern provinces, had previously reported the destruction of their agricultural lands due to flooding.
