According to sources, the Taliban arrested and subsequently killed a former member of Afghanistan’s National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) in Kandahar’s capital city in southern Afghanistan.

On Monday, the body of the former ANDSF soldier was discovered outside his residence in the town of Ainu Mina, situated in Kandahar city.

Sources detailed that in the former government, Abdul Mutallib held the position of commander of an army company in Kandahar province’s Arghandab district.

Sources reported that Abdul Mutalib was detained by the Taliban a few days ago.
