Local sources in Nawur district of Ghazni province said Wednesday that heavy rain in the last two days left huge financial losses in this district.
The severity of this flood has been unprecedented in the past fifty years and has surprised the residents if Nawur district, according to sources.
Sources say that the floods, which flowed from peaks and rocks to this district have destroyed about 30 agricultural water wells and a large cistern in this region and caused the loss of about 200 sheep and 30 cows.
Similarly, the heavy rains and floods in Hosa village of Jaghori district of Ghazni province have destroyed nearly 50 acres of agricultural land, all of which were wheat fields.
