In continuation of aid to the victims of the quake in Afghanistan’s Khost and Paktika provinces, now it is reported that humanitarian assistance from Iran and Qatar arrived in the country to help the victims.
Taliban general spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said Thursday that a plane carrying aid cargo had arrived in Kabul from Iran.
According to Mujahid, Qatar’s humanitarian aid has also arrived in the country.
Pakistan has sent eight trucks full of food to the quake victims in Paktika province, too.
A magnitude 5.9 earthquake in Khost and Paktika provinces on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, has killed more than 1,000 people and injured nearly 600 others.
