Jaghato District Residents in Ghazni Province Build School on Their Own Expense

This comes when the ruling rebels (Taliban) have closed the education doors for girls and have imposed certain restrictions on the boys while attending schools and universities. With this initiative, the people’s message to the Taliban is very clear that their weapon against the pen will never win and they need to change their strategy.

The residents of Ghazni province in Jaghatu district are constructing a school at their own expense, sources report.

The cost of constructing this school is estimated at 10 million AFN.

The students in this district are attending school in open spaces under the sun. To overcome this issue, the residents have decided to build the school at their own expense.
