8 Subh; Herat: Gunmen wounded a father and sister after abducting a child.
Witnesses to the incident told 8 Subh that the incident took place on Friday night, the June 25, in Behzad Road area of the fifth district of Herat city.
Haji Zubair Qalainawi, a money changer in the Khorasan market in Herat, along with his daughter were wounded by gunmen after his child was abducted when they wanted to enter their house.
The child was abducted while Herat Governor Abdul Saboor Qani had recently assured that he would implement special security programs to curb organized crime, especially kidnapping.
