Residents of Sar-e-Pul province report the discovery of the body of a young woman inside a septic tank in the region.
On Monday, residents of the Suzma-Qala district of Sar-e-Pul province told Hasht-e Subh that a young woman was mysteriously murdered and her body was dumped in a septic tank.
According to them, the victim was abducted five days ago, but her body was discovered yesterday inside a septic tank at her home.
Taliban security officials in Sar-e-Pul have also told the media that the incident took place in the village of Kariz-Afghan in Suzma-Qala district.
Taliban have called the motive for this event “family violence” and said that in connection with the murder of the woman, they have arrested her husband and two sons.
This comes as, from the beginning of the new solar year until now, three separate cases have been reported of three women being murdered in Sar-e-Pul.
