Local sources in Kandahar province have reported that a trader was killed by unidentified gunmen in the region.
According to the sources, the trader, named Khairullah, was shot and killed by unknown gunmen in the 14th district of Kandahar city on Monday morning, May 29.
Khairullah was known to reside in the Gelan area, located in 8th District of Kandahar city.
The sources further state that the gunmen managed to escape the scene on motorcycles.
The Taliban have not made any statements regarding this incident.
This incident follows another incident last Wednesday, where unidentified gunmen killed a man in the Kelago area of Teyora district, Ghur province.
