Local sources have reported the enigmatic murder of a young man hailing from Samangan province in the city of Kabul.
The body of the young man, identified as Nazirullah, was discovered on the night of Monday, September 25th, in the seventh district of Kabul city.
Nazirullah, a seventeen-year-old, was the son of Haneefa Aminpoor, a former member of the Samangan Provincial Council. He met a brutal end during his sister’s wedding, succumbing to severe beatings.
According to local sources, Nazirullah was forcibly dragged outside the wedding hall by his cousins during the ceremony, and his lifeless body was found several hours later.
The Taliban have apprehended one individual in connection with this incident, but the primary culprits behind this young man’s murder have managed to evade capture.
The precise motive behind this murder remains unclear to date.
Recent criminal incidents have witnessed an upsurge in various cities across the country. Reports from Kabul reveal that just one week ago, the body of another young man was discovered in Dasht-e Barchi area of Kabul city and subsequently transferred to the forensic medical department.
