
Mysterious Murders Unveiled: Two Women’s Bodies Found in Faryab Province
Officials from the Taliban security group in Faryab have reported the discovery of two women’s bodies in the province.
The Press Office of the Taliban Command in Faryab, in a published newsletter, stated that the bodies of two unidentified women were found on Friday, June 9, on the outskirts of the city of Maimana.
According to the Taliban, the victims’ bodies, which were suffocated with a cloth, have been transferred to the forensic medicine department.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the murder of these two women have begun.
So far, the motives behind these killings have not been determined.
This comes as the increase in mysterious murders and suicide incidents has raised concerns in Faryab province.
On the night of Thursday, June 8, a 26-year-old tailor named Noor Ahmad was killed by unknown gunmen on the outskirts of the city of Maimana.
In connection with this incident, the Taliban have detained two suspects.
