The Pakistan Army has reported a military operation targeting a “hideout” of TTP (Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan) members near the Afghan border.
In an official statement, the Pakistan Army disclosed that this operation took place on Monday, September 25th, in the vicinity of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to the press release, three TTP fighters, including one of the group’s commanders, were killed as a result of this operation.
As of now, the TTP has not issued any statements regarding this incident.
This comes in the wake of an extensive attack by TTP fighters on the Chitral region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province approximately two weeks ago, resulting in casualties on both sides of the conflict.
