
Pakistan’s Forced Deportation: Nearly 250 Afghan Migrants Expelled Amid Uncertainty
The Taliban’s Directorate of Migrants Affairs in Kandahar has announced that Pakistan has forcibly returned 236 Afghan migrants to Afghanistan.
This department announced on Wednesday, May 3, that among the deported migrants were several individuals who had been released from Pakistani prisons.
The migrants were sent to Afghanistan through the Spin-Boldak border on Wednesday, May 3.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) office in Spin-Boldak has been informed of the expelled migrants.
It is unclear whether women and children were among those deported.
This is the third time that Afghan migrants have been forcibly returned to Afghanistan by Pakistan through Spin-Boldak.
