Sayed Wali, a young poet and civil activist, was mysteriously killed in Khost province.
Sayed Wali was found dead on Sunday, January 30, in Zazai district, local sources reported.
According to sources, Sayed Wali disappeared near his home on Saturday – possibly taken hostage – and was found dead in the same vicinity a day later.
The Taliban in Khost have not commented on this matter as of yet.
It is also worth noting that two men who were stabbed to death were found last week in the outskirts of Khost city.
