Khalid Zadran, the spokesman for Taliban’s security command in Kabul, has confirmed that in a suicide attack on a checkpoint of this group’s fighters in Kabul city, 6 civilians were killed, and several others, including 3 Taliban members, were wounded.
The Taliban’s security command spokesman in Kabul tweeted that the suicide bomber targeted the checkpoint of the group’s fighters on Monday, near the square of Malik Asghar, in the second security district of Kabul city.
Meanwhile, the Emergency Health Organization has announced that 2 bodies and 12 injured, including a child, have been transferred to the hospital from the site of the blast near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Eyewitnesses say the explosion occurred when employees of the Taliban’s Foreign Affairs, Information, and Culture ministries were leaving their buildings.
The blast occurred in the crowded parts of Kabul, where Dawoodzai and Gul-bahar Center, two commercial centers, are located.
