The official gazette of the Ministry of Justice of the Taliban has published the decrees issued by Mullah Haibatullah Akhundzada, the hidden leader of the Taliban group, regarding the usurped lands.
These decrees attributed to Akhundzadeh were approved on Monday, November 28, in four chapters and 21 articles and published by the Ministry of Justice of the Taliban in the official gazette.
According to these decrees, the government lands, which they believe have been usurped by former government officials and influential figures must be sieged and returned.
In the decrees of the absent leader of the Taliban, government properties are mentioned under the name of “Emirati and Sultani” properties.
In the first article of these decrees, Akhundzadeh ordered the creation of a commission with the participation of the Ministries of Justice, Agriculture and Irrigation, Urban Development, Labor and Social Affairs, and the Office of the Attorney General to pursue issues related to the usurpation of government lands.
In the first chapter of these decrees, there are general decrees related to the usurpation of government lands, the second chapter contains information about the acquisition of usurped lands, the third chapter contains the provisions of proceedings regarding the usurped lands, and the fourth chapter contains decrees and regulations regarding the final decrees of Akhunzadeh.
According to his decree, all lands and properties that are not registered in the name of a person in their court should be confiscated or the price according to the current property rate should be collected from the alleged property owner.
The Ministry of Justice of the Taliban, in addition to publishing the orders and regulations of their leader regarding the usurped lands, has also attached articles of the regulations regarding the missing Taliban fighters during the previous government and the fate of their families.
These decrees attributed to the Taliban leader have been published by the official journal, while he has not yet appeared in the public. The only picture in the archive is a passport-size photo being circulated among the people and the Taliban. No one, even the high-ranking Taliban members have not met him in person. He usually speaks with his back to the audience.
