Local sources in Daikundi report that the Director of Statistics and Information of the Taliban in this province has lost his life in a traffic incident.
Sources, speaking to the Hasht-e Subh Daily, confirm that this incident occurred on Saturday, December 2, in the village of “Bandaki Tamza,” Pato district, Daikundi.
As a result of this incident, two guards of the Director of Statistics and Information of the Taliban in Daikundi have also been injured.
The Taliban have also confirmed the occurrence of this incident.
Previously, the Taliban’s recklessness while driving has led to frequent traffic accidents, and in some cases, members of this group have run over civilians with their vehicles.
In the latest case, last Thursday, a Taliban member’s Ranger in Kunduz ran over and murdered a prominent tribal elder.
