According to local sources in Zabul province, an unexploded mine explosion in this province killed one person and injured three children.
Sources on Friday, March 31, said that the mine expluded in Sorkhogano area of Shahjoy district in Zabul province when a tractor carrying nomads passed by.
According to sources, the mine was planted by Taliban and had remained unexploded in the area for several years.
The wounded were transferred to the health center in Shahjoy district.
It is worth mentioning that unexploded mines have occasionally claimed the lives of people in Afghanistan.
In the latest incident on Thursday, at least two children were injured in an explosion in Helmand province.
