Tragic Suicide in Bamiyan: Young Boy Takes His Own Life in the Heart of the Province

In a heart-wrenching incident, a young boy was discovered hanging in the central region of Bamiyan Province, as reported by local sources.

The devastating event unfolded on Monday, June 12th, in the village of Lalakhil, situated in the very heart of Bamiyan.

The deceased, identified as Bismilla, was a 26-year-old individual. Authorities have transferred his lifeless body to the provincial hospital in Bamiyan, where further investigation will take place.

At present, the motive behind this heart-rending suicide remains shrouded in mystery.

Notably, local Taliban officials in Bamiyan have refrained from offering any comment on the matter.

This tragic incident follows closely on the heels of another suicide that occurred last week, involving a 13-year-old child named Elyas. Reports indicate that Elyas took his own life following a heated argument with his mother over a mobile phone charging matter in the heart of the province.

Disturbingly, the findings of Hasht-e Subh newspaper reveal that, within the past month alone, 13 women and 14 men have tragically succumbed to their lives due to a multitude of reasons, primarily encompassing poverty and familial challenges.
