In a tragic incident, a woman in Ghazni Province reportedly took her own life by hanging herself, according to local sources.
The incident took place on Monday morning, May 22, in Naw-Abad, located in the sixth security district of Ghazni city. The woman hanged herself inside her residence, ending her life.
Sources further revealed that the woman, a mother of four children, had been left behind by her husband who had recently traveled to Iran in search of work, engaging in construction activities there.
The reason and motivation behind this unfortunate event remain unclear, and the Taliban have not made any statements regarding the incident.
It is worth noting that this is the second suicide case in the country in the past two days. Yesterday, a young girl in Spin Boldak district, Kandahar province, took her own life, and this morning, a 15-year-old boy in Badakhshan province also committed suicide.
