In the aftermath of a traffic incident in Helmand province, six individuals, including three children, have tragically lost their lives, according to local Taliban officials.
The Taliban’s Information and Culture Directorate in the province reported that the incident occurred on Monday, November 20, in the Takhta-Pul area of the Garmser district.
The victims of this unfortunate event include one man, two women, and three children.
The incident unfolded as a vehicle carrying residents of the Garmser district was en route to Lashkar-gah.
Fortunately, the driver of the passenger vehicle emerged unharmed from the incident.
In recent times, there has been a surge in traffic-related incidents across various provinces of the country. In the most recent case earlier today, on Monday, November 20, one person lost their life in a traffic incident in Kapisa province.
