
Tragic Traffic Mishaps in Bamiyan Claim Lives of Three, Leaving Five Injured in Their Wake
Two traffic incidents in the Bamiyan province have resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including a woman and a child, and have left five others injured.
These traffic incidents occurred on Thursday and Friday, June 15th and 16th, in the Yakawlang Number 1 district and Shibar in Bamiyan province.
In the first incident, which took place in the Jar-e Khoshk area of Yakawlang Number 1 district, a woman and a child lost their lives, while four other individuals sustained injuries.
One of the injured, whose condition was critical, has been transported to Kabul for medical treatment.
The second incident occurred today (Friday, June 16th) on the Bamiyan-Kabul highway after a truck carrying goods overturned, resulting in one fatality and injuring another person.
The media office of the Taliban’s security command in Bamiyan has confirmed the first traffic incident in the Yakaolang Number 1 district of this province, stating that the casualty figures are lower than what the public has reported.
The reason for this incident has been attributed to the driver’s negligence.
Approximately one week ago, in another traffic incident in the Panjab district of Bamiyan, 14 individuals, including women and children, were injured.
