Drivers in Kabul city have increased the fare of city transportation due to the oil price increase.
A driver in Kabul city told Hasht-e Subh on Monday, that due to the oil price rise, they had to raise the fare from 20 to 30 AFN for Taxi and for van-type vehicles from 10 to 15 AFN.
At the same time, some residents of Kabul complain about the increase in transportation fares.
One of the citizens of Kabul said that poverty has increased and continues to increase daily and people cannot afford city transportation fares more than usual.
Prior to this, in the first wave of the COVID-19 outbreak, the transportation fare in Kabul city had risen due to the traffic ban.
