Two Killed and 19 Injured in Three Explosions in Jalalabad

8 Subh, Nangarhar: Sources in Nangarhar province say three separate explosions killed two people and wounded 19 others. The blasts reportedly occurred on a Taliban vehicle.

According to sources, the blast took place in the fifth district of Jalalabad city, and the victims included women and children.

Meanwhile, doctors at the Nangarhar District Hospital said 21 injured people had been taken to hospital from the blast site, two of whom died of their injuries.

A source at the Nangarhar District Hospital said that with the exception of two women and a male civilian, the other victims were Taliban members.

Meanwhile, another source confirmed that pupils were also among the injured.

The Nangarhar Department of Information and Culture has confirmed that a number of people were superficially injured in the blast.

It is noteworthy that this is the first explosion of its kind in Nangarhar province after the Taliban took control of the country. No individual or group has claimed responsibility for the blasts.
