The virtue promoters of the Taliban province have arrested two instructors of a private, non-profit university in Ghazni province yesterday for the crime of wearing official suits.
Local sources reported on Friday (October 14th) that the Taliban arrested these two professors yesterday (October 13th), from a party organized by the university to celebrate Teacher’s Day.
After spending 12 hours in Taliban custody, the two instructors were finally released from the prison yesterday evening with the guarantee of several of their colleagues.
In the last week, the Taliban’s virtue promotion administration have imposed more restrictions on the residents of Ghazni province.
Earlier, the Taliban closed an English language training center due to the presence of a girl in one of the classrooms.
