The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has announced the creation of 9,000 classrooms for children in Afghanistan.
UNICEF said in a tweet on Thursday, October 20, that 283,000 children will benefit from the project 55% of these children are girls.
The organization has not provided more details about these educational classes.
UNICEF has already provided educational materials to thousands of children in remote areas of Afghanistan.
