Unidentified Gunmen Strike Again: Two Killed in Separate Attacks in Parwan and Nimroz

Local sources in Parwan province report the killing of a 28-year-old man by unidentified gunmen in the Jabal-Saraj district of this province.

The incident took place on Monday morning, in the village of Meyana-guzar.

The victim, identified as Esamat, was killed by the unknown gunmen with knife blows.

Local Taliban officials have also confirmed the incident, but the motive for the killing remains unclear.

Meanwhile, local sources in the Nimruz province also report the killing of a man by unidentified gunmen in this province.

On Monday, sources told Hasht-e Subh that unknown gunmen shot and killed a middle-aged man in the city of Zaranj, the center of the province, and fled the scene.

The reason and motive for the incident have not yet been determined, and Taliban have not commented on the matter.

This comes as mysterious killings and targeted assassinations have increased in several provinces of Afghanistan in recent times.

In the latest case, on Friday, unknown gunmen killed a child in Kapisa and set fire to his dead body.
