Local Taliban officials in Urozgan province report that a woman has been killed by gunshot in the center of the province.
Mawlawi Aminullah, the security commander of Taliban’s Security in Urozgan province, said that the body of the woman was found on Monday, April 17, inside a house in the second security district of Terinkut city, the center of this province.
According to the Taliban’s security commander in Uruzgan, the woman committed suicide.
He also announced the arrest of several individuals on charges of murdering the woman.
Meanwhile, an anonymous source stated that the woman was not a suicide but was murdered.
Mysterious killings have recently increased in various provinces of Afghanistan.
