Local Taliban officials in Jawzjan province say that a young man has been killed after being abducted by unknown gunmen.
Mullah Shamsullah Waseeq, commander of the Taliban’s security forces in Jawzjan province, confirmed the incident on Friday.
Abdul Hadi, the slain youth, was 30 years old and was abducted from Kok-Gonbad area of Maimana city yesterday and then killed.
It is said that the body of this young man was found in Imam-Jafar village in the center of Sar-e Pol province.
It is not yet clear what the motive behind this killing was.
In the past week, this is the fifth incident of murder that has taken place in Jawzjan and Faryab provinces.
