A young man was shot dead by gunmen in Samangan province in north Afghanistan.
Local sources told Hasht-e Subh that a 24-year-old man on Wednesday evening was killed by unidentified armed men in Gol Qeshlaq village of Aybak, Samangan’s capital city.
Sources identified the young man as Yasin, saying that he was busy doing manual jobs.
Hitherto, the cause and motive of his murder have not been clarified.
Confirming this incident, Taliban members said that efforts have begun to arrest the perpetrators.
The occurrence of murders and criminal offenses taken place repeatedly throughout Afghanistan have caused concern and fear among citizens.
