According to local sources in Faryab province, a 40-year-old man met a mysterious death.
Sources, speaking to the Hasht-e Subh Daily, confirm that the man’s name was Khal Murad, and he was killed on Sunday night, October 8, in Shakmani village, Pashtun Kot district of the same province.
The Taliban also verified the incident, revealing that Khal Murad worked as a telecommunications network guard and was “silenced” by unknown individuals during the night. The motive behind this man’s murder remains undisclosed. It’s worth noting that mysterious and targeted killings have been increasing across various regions of the country in recent months.
Just last Thursday night, a woman and a man were similarly murdered in Narij village, Lulash district, Faryab province.
