The Afghanistan Freedom Front has claimed that it targeted and destroyed two Taliban military drones in Zebak district of Badakhshan Province.

In a statement released on Saturday, July 25, the group said the drones were targeted while conducting operations in airspace under the control of its forces in Zebak, Badakhshan.

The Afghanistan Freedom Front added that in recent days, the Taliban have launched a large-scale effort to advance toward the group’s positions in Badakhshan by using their military equipment and capabilities.

The group claimed that the Taliban’s efforts were met with resistance from its forces and that the Taliban’s attacks and advances were unsuccessful.

The Afghanistan Freedom Front also claimed that, during an operation carried out yesterday, it prevented helicopters carrying Taliban reinforcements from landing in Zebak district.

According to the group, the Taliban helicopters came under attack from Afghanistan Freedom Front forces while attempting to deploy reinforcement fighters and were forced to leave the area.
