Bangladesh has announced the dispatch of emergency aid to the earthquake victims in Kunar.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh stated on Friday, September 5, in a message that this country’s aid shipment has been transported by aircraft to Kabul Airport.
The ministry added that the people of Bangladesh stand alongside the victims of the Kunar earthquake.
Bangladesh has not specified what items are included in this country’s emergency aid.
This comes while Qatar has announced the dispatch of its ninth shipment of emergency aid to Kunar.
Meanwhile, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has allocated 10 million dollars to the earthquake victims in Kunar.
Six days after the Kunar earthquake, the Taliban have still not announced the end of rescue operations.
According to the Taliban, more than 2,200 people have lost their lives in this earthquake, and more than 3,600 others have been injured.
