Following a series of attacks on Taliban vehicles in Herat province, the death toll is reported to have risen to 18 casualties.
Sources in Herat province have reported that four minibuses carrying Taliban forces are attacked by unidentified gunmen in different parts of Herat province this Monday morning.
Unknown gunmen have attacked from four directions on three minibuses belonging to Herat 207 Al-Farooq Corps and the other one relates to Herat Airport Police.
The attacks have been carried out in Baland Ab, No. 1 and Sarjangal areas of Herat province.
Sources told Hasht-e Subh that nearly 18 people, including Taliban members and civilians, are killed.
Meanwhile, sources in Herat regional hospital say that two dead and 20 wounded have been taken to this hospital so far.
Taliban have not yet officially confirmed the number of casualties.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
