Kabul – Local sources in Kandahar province have confirmed that the Deputy Commander of Taliban’s Badri Forces Unit named Mullah Abdul Ghafar has been killed in clashes in Panjshir province.
He was killed by the Resistance forces on Friday, May 13.
According to sources, Abdul Ghafar was leading the fight against the Resistance Front in Panjshir province.
After the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, Mullah Abdul Ghafar was first appointed as Police Chief in Kandahar and later on as the Deputy Commander of the Badri Forces Unit in the province.
