Israeli media reported an explosion sound in Isfahan, Iran. The Jerusalem Post, citing local sources, reported the explosion in the early hours of Friday, April 19. However, ABC News also reported that the explosion followed an Israeli missile strike on an Iranian military facility.
Videos shared by social media users from Isfahan show sirens and anti-aircraft fire sounds. Both Iranian and Israeli authorities have not commented on the matter yet. Simultaneously, explosions were heard in As Suwayda province in southern Syria and Babylon province in Iraq.
Reports indicate that airstrikes on Thursday night, April 18, targeted Syrian army bases in As Suwayda and Daraa provinces in southern Syria. Authorities in Syria and Iraq have not provided details on these explosions and their cause. It’s noteworthy that after missile and drone attacks from Iran to Israel on Saturday, April 13, Tel Aviv warned of a decisive response to these attacks.
