Former Military Officer Assassinated in Kabul: Another Tragic Loss for Previous Government Forces

Sources report that a former military officer was killed by a gunshot in the city of Kabul, Afghanistan.

A reliable source reveals that on Monday, May 22, in Arzan-Qimat, an area belonging to the 12th district of Kabul, the former officer named Yar Mohammad was targeted and fatally shot by two armed individuals.

The source adds that Yar Mohammad had served in the local police forces in the city of Sharan, the center of Paktika province, during the previous government.

According to the information provided by the sources, this former military officer had been living in Kabul since the collapse of the republic’s regime.

It is noteworthy that just a few days ago, Badruddin Haydari, the security commander of the Bak-khil district in the previous government, was arrested by the Taliban in the city of Khost and subsequently transferred to Paktika province, where he was subjected to a hail of bullets in vigilant justice by the Taliban.
