The Taliban’s Ministry of Defense claimed that, in response to Pakistan’s airstrikes, they attacked border points and killed 14 Pakistani soldiers.
The Taliban’s Ministry of Defense added in a statement on Saturday, March 14, that these attacks were carried out at border points in Kunar and Nangarhar provinces.
According to the Taliban, 11 Pakistani soldiers were wounded in the attacks.
Taliban also claimed that they had captured a Pakistani military outpost.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani army has confirmed Taliban drone attacks on parts of its territory.
Additionally, Asif Ali Zardari, the president of Pakistan, has condemned the Taliban’s drone attacks.
Pakistan carried out airstrikes on Friday morning on targets in the provinces of Kabul, Kandahar, Paktika, and Paktia, resulting in the deaths of six people.
