Reports from local sources detail a perplexing homicide involving a 46-year-old man in Badghis province.
Sources confirmed to Hasht-e Subh Daily that the man’s body was found on Wednesday, April 3rd, inside a water well in the “Qebchaq” area of Bala Murghab district.
The individual had been missing for six days prior, last seen in the Nawabad area of Bala Murghab district.
According to these sources, the man’s body bore evident signs of torture.
As of now, the motive behind the murder and the identity of the perpetrators remains elusive.
The Taliban, to date, have abstained from issuing any commentary on the matter.
