Sources in Herat province have reported that the Taliban forces are checking the personal cell phones of residents in this province.
According to footage sent to Hasht-e Subh on Tuesday, showing that the Taliban fighters are checking the cellphones of a number of Herat youths at the education crossroads in this province.
Herat residents say this Taliban’s arbitrary act is an intrusion on citizens’ privacy.
Checking the personal cellphone has been one of the major issues that usually turns to headlines. Privacy rights to Taliban do not have any meaning. There is no legitimate reason for such an act, but to find a reason for harassment of the citizens.
