Tragic Car Plunge Claims 6 Lives and Leaves 9 Injured in Kapisa Mountain Mishap

Local Taliban officials in Kapisa have reported that a car, described as a Mazda truck, fell off a mountain in the province, resulting in the tragic loss of six lives and leaving nine others wounded.

The incident took place on Wednesday morning, May 31, in the village of Chaykhil, Alasai district, Kapisa province.

Abdul Fattah Fayez, the spokesperson for the Taliban’s security command in Kapisa, informed Hasht-e Subh that the car plummeted from the mountainside while transporting a group of farmers to their fields.

Tragically, women and children are among the victims of this unfortunate event.

The primary causes of this accident have been attributed to the driver’s negligence and the narrowness of the road.

The Alasai district in Kapisa province is known for its challenging and treacherous routes.
