Kabul – Local sources in the Khost district of Baghlan province report the end of the clashes among the Taliban and the National Resistance Front (NRF) in the Charkh-e-Falak village of Khost Farang district of the province.
A local source in the Khost district of Baghlan told Hasht-e Subh that a two-hour clash took place among the Taliban and (NRF) forces at around 2:00 am today morning, however, the situation is now back to normal.
The Taliban are arresting and harassing locals on charges of collaborating with the Resistance Front, the source claims.
However, the Taliban have not yet commented on the allegations.
In the meantime, sources claim that six members of the (NRF) and 20 forces of the Taliban were killed and wounded in a two-day clash in the Khost district of Baghlan province.
On the other hand, other sources tell Hasht-e Subh that the conflict is ongoing and it is not yet clear when it will end.
