Regional officials in Russia have announced that Ukrainian drone attacks in various parts of the country have killed at least eight people.
Reuters reported on Sunday, August 2, that the attacks targeted several locations, including a warehouse belonging to Wildberries, Russia’s largest online retailer.
Russia’s Ministry of Defence said that its forces had shot down 635 Ukrainian drones overnight.
The Russia-Ukraine war has continued since February 2022, and both sides have repeatedly carried out drone attacks against each other’s positions during the conflict. In recent months, Ukraine has increased its attacks on areas inside Russian territory.
