Local Taliban officials in Sar-e Pul province have reported a tragic incident involving the death of a 20-year-old young man, believed to have taken his own life in the Suzma Qala district.
According to a statement released by local Taliban officials, the victim, identified as Hamidullah, was discovered deceased in his room on Tuesday, March 26th, having hanged himself. The incident follows a reported altercation between Hamidullah and his family, leading to this grim outcome.
Regrettably, this incident marks the second instance of suicide in Sar-e Pul province within the past week, reflecting a disturbing trend in the region.
