Local sources in Baghlan province have reported that fighting has escalated in some areas of Andarab district of Baghlan province, particularly in Qasan valley, between the Taliban and National Resistance Front (NRF) forces since Saturday, July 16, 2022.
As a result of the conflicts, 17 Taliban fighters are killed and at least 10 others injured.
Taliban members have not yet provided details on the fight.
Although the exact number of casualties of the NRF forces in this battle is not yet reported, sources have reported three injuries on NRF side so far.
After a short break, the Taliban have resumed attacks on NRF bases in Khost and Andarab Baghlan.
