A tragic traffic incident on the Kabul-Jalalabad Highway has resulted in the death of six individuals and left two others injured, according to local sources.
The incident occurred on Friday, May 26, shortly after noon, at the Pol-e Charkhi area on the Kabul-Jalalabad Highway.
According to drivers and witnesses, the incident happened when a passenger van, identified as a Saracha-type, veered off the road and overturned.
Reports indicate that the victims of the incident were six young individuals who were traveling with their families for recreational purposes.
The cause of this traffic incident has been attributed to the negligence of the drivers.
The Taliban has not made any statements regarding the incident at this time.
The Kabul-Jalalabad Highway is one of the country’s major transit routes, facilitating significant transportation activities.
