Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Taliban’s acting Foreign Minister, has said that all of Afghanistan’s neighbors, except Pakistan, are satisfied with their relations with the group.
The Financial Express reported early Tuesday, October 14, that Muttaqi stated the Taliban do not wish to engage in conflict with any country.
Earlier, in response to rising border tensions, Muttaqi had warned Pakistan that if Islamabad was not interested in peace, the Taliban had “other options” available.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has criticized the Taliban’s contradictory stance toward Islamabad, saying the group “issues threats on one hand while calling for dialogue on the other.”
