Local sources have reported an armed attack on two Taliban bases in the provinces of Parwan and Kapisa.
Residents of Parwan state that around 7:30 PM on Saturday, December 16, armed individuals launched an assault on a Taliban base in the “Bagh Abdullah Jan” area of Sayed Khel district.
According to sources, both light and heavy weapons were employed in this attack.
Simultaneously, local sources in Kapisa also report an armed attack on a Taliban base in the “Sarak Mir Masjidi Khan” area of Hesa-e Awal Kohistan district. This attack took place around 2:00 AM on Sunday, December 17.
While the exact casualty figures from these engagements are unknown, a credible source within the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, through the transmission of video footage to Hasht-e Subh, asserts that these attacks were carried out by their forces.
A reliable source within the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan claims that following the attack on the Taliban base in Sayed Khel district, Parwan province, one Taliban fighter was killed, and two others were injured.
Additionally, he states that in the attack on the Taliban base in Kapisa, three Taliban fighters were killed, and three others were injured.
It is worth mentioning that in recent months, armed attacks by anti-Taliban resistance forces on the positions of this group have increased in various parts of the country.
As of December 13, the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan also claimed that in an attack by their forces on Taliban positions in Shakardara district, Kabul province, and Nurgram district, Nuristan province, at least four Taliban fighters were killed.
