Ahmad Massoud, the leader of the National Resistance Front (NRF), has criticized the sending of $40 million cash packages to Kabul under the name of humanitarian aid, saying that the aid packages have strengthened the Taliban and terrorist groups in Afghanistan.
Recently, speaking in an interview with Tradal, an independent journalist, Massoud said that there has been no monitoring on how the $40 million cash packages are being spent in the country.
With the integration of terrorist groups within the next three to five years, Massoud has warned that the Taliban will eventually carry out a dangerous attack similar to 9/11.
The NRF leader emphasized that there are currently 23 active terrorist groups in Afghanistan.
Massoud meanwhile has insisted that he does not expect any weapon support from the West and that only political support and the use of potential dialogue can change the situation in Afghanistan.
